History
The essence of the origin of Bodegas Nexus&Frontaura was conceived in Toro, in this land bathed by the Duero River with the beauty it leaves in its wake that cannot be surrendered.
Suddenly, in a temporary moment, after centuries of history, someone observes the course of the water, looks at the sky, feels the wind, feels the cold in their hands and the radiant sun on their cheeks, experiencing that the nature of our landscape and the historical legacy of its surroundings is beating in you, and you already sense the change: a different history has germinated around a territory embraced by the Duero River.
1840
Our ancestors start working the vines and already appear in records as “wine growers” in the area.
1999
We begin producing Designation of Origin Toro quality wines from our own vineyards.
2000
A modern weather station is installed in the estate Pago de Valdelacasa. This is the only winery such an advanced technology in the area, making it one of the most state-of-the-art wineries in the Designation of Origin Toro.
